  1. We have an election coming in June, you can register now as soon as you can.

I don't know where you live in California, but usually in front of a Wal-mart store you can register, or call the registry of voters for their location near you.

Santa Ana --Orange Country court HOuse on 7th. and Flower St.

    San Joaquin county- Court House-Stockton

    StanislausCounty Court house-Modesto

    Riverside County Court House-Riverside

    Alemeda county Court house Oakland

Or any of the other 52 CountyCourt houses

  2. You can vote on the next election.

  3. Congratulations on becoming a US citizen!  And, for registering to vote!

    You made my day.

As a citizen, you are able to participate in all elections and that includes everything from selecting the city & county officials to the leader of the entire nation.

Contact the Clerk's office in the city or town where you reside.  They will also be able to tell you how you can vote by means of an "absentee ballot" in certain circumstances.  This alternative method allows those who are unable (due to illness or being away from the city on the date of the election, etc.) to make to the polling site to effectively cast their vote by means of a paper ballot mailed through the USPS in advance of the election.

Thanks for wanting to make our country a better place.
