Besides the license and permits I need to start a daycare, Do I need any special training or certificates to teach preschool from my home? I would like to advertise my daycare as a preschool as well and I want to make sure I meet all requirements if any?

  1. yes you do

  2. Yes you do need to take some sort of classes for preschool. It's not that simple.

  3. no need i think

u need to just take permision

and then register ur office name

    thats all

    see education is not crime

    u can teach it

    u can share it

all u need is to register

when u want to collect some high fee

  4. You should at least have a CDA (Child Development Associate) certificate/degree. I think you can get this at a local community college.

Wikipedia states "Child Development Associate(CDA) credential is awarded in the United States to those who have completed a list of requirements, including 120 hours of training, set forth by the Council for Professional Recognition, and who have successfully passed the verification visit to work with Infants/Toddlers or Preschoolers.

CDAs must be able to work with parents and children, and be competent in all areas of child development. The CDA has been accepted in all 50 of the United States, and the U.S. Territories. The CDA credential enables child care professionals to increase their skills and move into advanced positions. The CDA credential is the licensing requirement for child care teachers and/or child care center directors in many states.[citation needed] Educators looking to obtain the credential can obtain this coursework either with in-person classes or through online options such as CDAClass.org."
