I live in California. How do I get my drivers permit?

I am planning to get my permit. I want to get it when I'm 15 1/2. I'm 15 and about two months. What are the steps in getting my permit? I don't know how. I heard you have to take tests but I'm not sure where. Can you please tell me every detail I need to know, and provide links if needed. Thank you guys, it is greatly appreciated.

okk well first yu take a drivers ed class

&& get that little paper

&& then yu go && sign up for a drivin training class && get another littlee paper

yur school might have it or if not just use thee yellow book

&& then yu go to thee dmv && tell make an appointment for a writing test

theyll give yu papers

meanwhile study thee book

&& then when yu go back

yu turn in thee parers && they take yur pick && then they give yu thee test && then they grade it for yu

just google CA DMV in whatever city u live in...it should turn up.you need to take the drug and alcohol test and the road signs/rules test.thats it.you only have a certain amt. of time to take the road signs/rules test so study the handbook!!good luck.
