  1. What curricular activities does a 3 year old have? Let alone extra-curricular.

Just let him be a little boy.

  2. I'm in Canada, too, and most cities have TONS of activities to choose from. At 3, my daughter was in swimming lessons (her first unparented), gymnastics, and took some creative movement classes (sort of "pre-dancing"). I think she was 3 when we did a "play with clay" class together, too. (BTW - she didn't do all those things at the same time) Check on-line. See what your local YMCA or your city recreation programs offer.

You might try posting at "Today's Parent" forums. LOTS of Canadian parents there and you could post in "Parents of Preschoolers" or "Community Chat" to ask what other parents in your area are doing with their 3 yr olds.

You could also send me a message. I'm pretty good at finding good activities for people, esp. if I know what city you're in.

  3. Hockey.

  4. i always feel, one should know 1) one foreign langauge 2) one musical instrument 3) singing/dancing 4) a sport and 5) swimming. Now, you choose :)

At this tender age, he would quickly pick such activities.
