I live in Carpentersville, IL...does anyone know what happened at 1:30 this morning?

There were several really bright flashes of light with a loud electrical hum noise, the power went out and there was a funny burning smell outside. Lots of cops were outside, but I still haven't heard what happened, does anyone know?

i think all the power went out because some1 in ur town probobly ran into a electric pole and mest up the power lines and the cops where there there to check the person in the car and the fire .
