  1. The only ones weatherwise that you really have to look out for are the overnight parking ones (starting Dec. 1st-No Parking 3am-7am, I think they say) on certain routes, like Foster--they're not big signs and only one is needed on each block, so watch out.  The ones that say "No Parking if 2 (or 3?) inches" of snow very rarely get written...that's only done if an order comes out to do it, which I don't recall any in recent times.  If possible I would avoid main streets if possible anyway if alot of snow is predicted...just with the ice the plows throw up at the cars.


  2. It probably means that you'd better not be parked there when the snowplows come through.
