I live in Dallas Texas and am interested in a Toucan as a pet. Are they legal here and where could I buy one?

I have done plenty of research on toucan care and would love to start shopping around. However, I can't seem to find any breeders in the area and can't find evidence that these birds are not allowed as pets where I live. I thought I'd ask here before calling up other exotic bird breeders.

Any help is much appreciated.

I think you have to pass some law for that

They are legal. Yes you can own one in Dallas Texas.

You're going to have to find an out of state breeder to get a Toucan.

You'll end up spending over $9000 to own one, but they are worth it.
