I would like to take my partner out for a romantic meal as a Christmas present, can anyone recommend a lovely romantic venue within the Derbyshire area.

if you can travel to nottingham, Hart's near nottingham castle is fantastic!  eaten there myself several times as the food and service are awesome.

it recently had a re-furb and had 'booth' style seating put in so its ideal for romantic dinners. plus they have a hotel if you decided to round your romantic night off with a cosy bed and a bottle of bubbles!

if you dont take my advice on this occasion then def pop in when your in the notts area sometime.

Hi Jane, I live in Derby to. A really nice place is San Marco (Italian) on London road its absolutely beautiful.

Or there is a nice place in Belper called Don Panchos also Italian (i haven't been myself but i'm told ts really nice.

Or if you fancy an upmarket curry go to Anoki its next to San Marco on London Rd....really nice and posh
