  1. If you are flying to Dublin then yes you will need a passport. But by boat you don't need to.

  3. Take a train to Holyhead, then a ferry to Dublin. They didn't check our passports, and we're neither British nor Irish.

  5. no not necessarily a passport you can use your driving license!!

    The UK is not a signatory to the Schengen agreement, so you may need it if you wish to return to England.

  10. Not by boat, you can travel freely by boat.

  11. ire girl17 is right all you need is photographic I.D. driving license etc its all part of the U.K. so you are not leaving your own country if this was true you would need a passport to visit Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
