I live in Illinois USA, I can't imagine a place worse off weather wise than here. Thunderstorms, roads?

flooded, tornadoes. Does England get this kind of weather??? When you say rain is it thunderstorm rain or just regular rain. Do you get tornadoes? I absolutely hate the c**p we are getting.

Florida has hurricanes, it's humid year-round, and tropical storms are no special occurence. It's all in persepective. :P

Although, with all of the tornadoes and things I can definitely understand!

I am agreeing with you totally. I live in the suburbs of Chicago. And this weather has been going insane here....the tornado watches until 2am. weiiird weather...although today is turning out to be very lovely.

but it usually acts this way every year....it is tornado season

I agree, I live in Madison, Wisconsin, and today was EXTREMELY nice (80 degrees, clear skies) but now there is a huge dark cloud moving towards us, and there is a severe thunderstorm warning.  I'm getting incredibly tired of this weather!  One minute, I think that entire system has moved out, but then it starts raining and thundering.

I am in Iowa.

And we are about to flood more in my area. We have had hazmat and The Red Cross here in my town all week.

Here we had tornadoes and rain and now flooding.

Thank god today was sunny I got work done outside in the yard...GRRRR now watch, my lawn furniture will be down the block with the next rain.

All in all I love my state. But this is as bad as the flood of 93 in ways. And I am sick of rain and tornadoes.

Hang in there soon we both will be complaining how hot and dry it is.

Try the Philippines.   Massive typhoons cost 1,000s of lives and 10s of thousands homes are destroyed.  Then there are the monsoons and year round sweltering heat...

actually in the chicago area it's nice and sunny!!!! it has thundered like 3 days ago, but the rest was sunny and fun!!!
