I live in Maine currently. We are considering a move to Florida as I have family down there.

Well, here's the problem. My daughter is disabled. I was told that Florida didn't have the same services or what they had wasn't as good as far as what Medicaid will pay for.

If that is true, how do I find out? I mean is there a place on the internet I can find out?

You go to the Florida state Medicaid office website.  But I've heard that, too.

Also, there will be fewer providers that ACCEPT medicaid.  Lastly, keep in mind eligibility - although some states base eligibility for disabled children on only the child's income, some will take into consideration the entire family's income - which would mean your child might NOT qualify.
