  1. No, don't worry.

  2. You will be fined and required to buy and show proof of insurance

  3. If you go to court with proof of insurance even if it is recently purchased the consequences are less...... but you'll have to pay the ticket, court costs and with the proof of new insurance you know because your trying to do the right thing and all the fines most likely will be lifted.....I actually went and saw the prosecutor before court in this same situation and they decided to drop it.....so you never know!

  4. What did you REALLY get pulled over for ?

Speeding ? Non Stop at Stop sign or Light ?

Any notes on ticket? Why you were stopped ?

When you go to court Judge reads Why you were stopped.

Because he or she knows Officer didn't know you didn't have insurance til he asked you for it. So goes to intent of what you were doing to get pulled over.

I agree with the above .... If you get insurance coverage and have No Record of Speeding or No insurance in the last year your fine might be less.

Also you can get insurance on line if you have a Credit card that isn't max'd out. This Shows you had insurance the day of the Ticket issued Some Judges will toss it out if you present Insurance Card with Date on it match.

Also Get you some insurance before you jump back in and drive. If you get an other ticket before you get Insurance your fine will be doubled or trippled instead.. And you and your tag is in the system now if you get pulled over before clearing this up.

Good Luck.... Get some Insurance. Esurance or Progressive will get you Insurance Card today online.

  5. The penalty for driving without insurance varies from state to state. In some states, your vehicle tag can be seized and your car impounded. In addition, some states impose heavy fines for those who drive without auto insurance. Limited sates fine a fee of $150 to $500 for driving without insurance.

The consequences can be far more serious if you are involved in an accident and do not have insurance. You may have to comply with the financial responsibility laws (SR22, SR22s, SR16) including having to pay for any injuries or damages out of your own pocket.

Now go get some insurance. Your case will look even worse if you go before the judge and still don't have insurance.

  6. No, you didn't get pulled over for not having insurance.  When they pulled you over for whatever reason, equipment violation or whatever moving violation you did, they discovered also you didn't have insurance, a violation of state law, and ticketed for for that also.

You will get insurance so that when you appear in court and the judge asks "Do you now have insurance?" you can answer "Yes Sir, I do" and prove it.

Since you didn't when you were stopped, you will get a fine, and points on your license.

  7. Worried?

How about somebody you ran into and injured and you with no insurance?

Hopefully, they will give you a big fine, points on your licence and 1,000 hours community service mopping up the blood and brains at road accident sites.
