I live in Milwaukee and heard a rumor that if Chicago hold the Olympics that some events would be held here?

I think it would be quite possible since they said some of the Beijing events are actually happening in locations a 4 hour flight away. Milwaukee is only an hour and a half drive from Chicago.

It's very likely. Milwaukee is in such close proximity to Chicago that it would make sense for a number of events, such as baseball and soccer, that would have many matches going on at once. I remember back in 1996, some group play soccer games were played at RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C. There is no way that one city will have enough facilities to accommodate all the events that would be happening at one time. However, as the games would be based in Chicago, all the finals and such would take place in or around Chicago.

Well, I haven't heard that but I doubt it. Some events in China, like soccer, weren't held in Beijing. They were held at different venues throughout China.

But, I don't think they would hold events in an entirely different state.
