I live in NY...i was wondering does anyone have any suggestions on how to get an agent...or a good agency?

I am only 17 years old...and i really want to work towards my dream which i have had since i was two...which is to become an actress...i finally convinced my mom that i can find an agent but i was wonder which agencies are good...like legit..

go to http://sag.org/node/667 and pick new york from the list.

   All the legit agencies will come up and you can send your headshot and resume to them. You can do both SAG affiliated and not affiliated - they're both still legit if they're on the SAG website.

William Morris Agency has been one of the top ones for years, for all kinds of talent.

Don't take rejection personally, if this is the path you choose.  All the stars you see now were rejected many times.
