I live in North Dakota,is anyone else haveing a hard time finding decent sized green peppers?

I want to make stuffed green peppers,but the peppers we are getting here in the stores are so small,and when they are big they are charging $1.59 each,haven't found any big ones at a lower price,this is so crazy, whats with the green pepper crop this year!

it has to do with lack of water. that and more growers are starting to pick them quicker to make more money. Try stuffed tomatoes instead. you can get the big beef steak variety and give yourself a change of pace
