  1. If you are a beginner, start with a school or community play/musical. Once you do that you can check out some acting schools. Take acouple classes. Then, check out these websites:

    http://actinginfo.blogspot.com/

    http://www.kidsmanagement.com/

    Hope this helps :)

  2. I've been an Orlando resident for 36 years, in and around, as well, and have worked dozens of local theater venues.

"GETTING" certainly is the challenge, but might depend in large part on ANY experiences or education, in the craft, and/or the Genre you're willing to explore. You do Omit that detail, which does matter.

There are no less than 4 independents in the area, MAD COW being 1.

      Then there are others.

    Orlando REP

    Orlando Shakespere

    Orlando Opera

    Colonial Plaza Theater

Various Theme parks that have theatrical, performance situations

Once in a Blue Moon, Film companies doing location shooting, looking for FILLERS

Colleges, such as even Valencia/UCF with theater programs, and black box theaters.

Publications, very specific to the Trades/Crafts

Orlando is no Broadway/NYC, nor Hollywood, but is, in it's cultural sense, at least trying. YOU need to as well, in every effort possible, in researching what is most open.

Summer here, is usually Childrens/Youth theater, and Seasonally, O town runs major productions from Nov. Through May,,,approximately. One suggestion is to get a schedule a year or season in advance, send a resume, head shot, etc, make calls, and learn what  is being worked in pre-season efforts to cast anything.

Bob Carr runs Broadway touring shows, that ONCE IN AWHILE, might look for FILLERS.

Beyond that, Community theaters within a 65 mile radius, abound, as well as Dinner theaters, most in a themed sense.

STUCK, might be by choice. Certainly it isn't something that the genre is restrictive in.

No real offense, but I cannot imagine that you haven't expended some efforts? The general area  has supported me, and hundreds of others over the years.

Open auditions do happen, Calls are advertised, and while competetive, the market,,,given the size and status of O town, is quite large.

    Just my 2 "scents"

  3. There's several really good dinner theatres in Orlando that you could check out- maybe send them an email and see when they have auditions.

And then there's always Disney... may not be the kind of acting experience you're looking for but entertainment is entertainment to an extent...

    Best of luck`

  4. Well for one you could do dinner shows or two you can audition for parts at disney like do shows of things like finding nemo, lion king, beauty and the beast etc. you defintetly will get a lot of experience from that. or audition at universal studios for beetle juice or a performer there you

could also audition for halloween horror nights  which will give you acting experience also as a street performer or a performer at the bill and tred show

here are some websites you can go to:

    http://www.universalauditions.com/orland...

    http://corporate.disney.go.com/auditions...

    break a leg!

  5. start with classes at school then do plays at shcool build up your resume get experience! then get an agent and if you want to be succesful it will take years of hard work slowly climbing the ladder of success but if you get a chance to do somethign big go for it!

for agents and all the info you need go to actinginfo.blogspot.com and talentagents.blogspot.com for the agent one click table of contents then click city nearest you. read everything on the site

answers wont pop up infront of you so look around and click on the words in blue but not the ones that are double underlined!
