There is a big problem with using a taser.  You have to get close enough to use it.  If your attacker is faster, or stronger than you it can be taken away and used on you.

Try mase or pepper spray.  When you are heading to your car or house, make it a habit to reach in your purse and keep your finger on the trigger.
