If my liscense is suspended in NC, can I drive in PA? Will NC notify PA if I am convicted? I have no idea what to expect here, this happened over 18 months ago, and I can't get a return answer/phone call from my lawyer. Anybody know?

  2. You cant drive anywhere, If you get pulled over you are going to jail.

  3. i think you're the only one that doesn't know....you have to follow the terms of the NC court. everystate in the nation will know you'r a drunk!!

  4. Strictly speaking, you can drive in any state where your license is not suspended.  Some states may have special rules to the contrary, but your license to drive in any one state is regulated by the state licensing agency (in NYS, it's DMV) which only has jurisdiction in that state.

As a prosecutor, I regularly receive questions or notifications from law enforcement agencies of different states - I can't believe that this is any less true of motor-vehicle licensing agencies.

You need a new lawyer (have you been delinquent in paying his bills?), but as a rule, you cannot lose your license to drive in one state unless you have been notified to that effect by whoever suspends/revokes your license.

  5. "If my liscense is suspended in NC, can I drive in PA?" - No

"Will NC notify PA if I am convicted?" - Yes
