I live in SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA and am planning on buying a used 15 foot fiberglass runabout tomorrow.?

i have checked out and am happy with the boat but am wondering what i need to do paperwork wise ie transfer of rego on boat and trailer etc. and what i would need to do if either rego has expired?

well i got a 15 foot fiberglass boat, its got a 75hp mariner (rebuilt engine), all safety gear, registered boat and trailer, it has a fish finder, for $7500 tell me if u r interested. i live in nsw if u want me to send you the pictures just email me at [e-mail]

transfer is likened to transferring a car, trailer is with rta and boat is with  nsw maritime. the old owner should give you all the paper work for both boat and trailer and he should have advised you if the rego has expired. I think, but im not sure but if reg has expired then you just need to register in your name, but I would call rta about the trailer, the boat should be ok just to register.

Our boat was $61.40 rego and trailer $51.00
