Most of these selections are pretty good if I were you I would stay away from the chain restaurants

There's this place near Brooks City Base called Mr and Mrs G's...WONDERFUL! It's soul food.

darling you've lived here all your life, you don't think there is anything to do...there lots to do.. You didn't say what age group were in..I'm in the 40s. What about Sea World-Fiesta Texas, riverwalk, Rodeos, Live concerts, Live theater, Spurs,

area festivals, floating down the Guadalupe, restaurant style theaters, and that only the beginning...Restaurants these are the ones I've been going to for 40 years--Tip Top for the best chicken fried steak--Jacalas- same waiters and have change the recipes, Fuddruckers for hamburgers, Lugis for Italian Rudy's for BBQ and thats just the tip.. Get the currant and the weekend and plan your adventure..try circling a few restaurants in you hood and try one or 2 aweek.. It is a wonderful place to live, start small and explore... happy trails
