If she likes seafood and you're close to PCH and Sunset, try Gladstones.  Really good food and a nice view of the ocean.

Sounds like she likes Asian food. Gyukaku is a Japanese BBQ place in Old Town Pasadena on Green Street. You can grill your own meat and vegetables.  It's great.
