  1. You should be able to find baked beans quite easily in a bigger town, I know that stores such as Home ever, Lotte supermarket, Home plus has them. There are some foreign foods in Itaewon. There's a supermarket to the left of Gheckos which has some foreign cans of foods, etc.

There is a Costco near Yangjae subway station which has many American foods.

    Good luck.

  2. I don't think you have specified what city you are in.  But in Seoul there is a lot of western goods.  There are number of Costcos as well scattered throughout the country.  They have a lot of western stuff.

LotteMart usually sells tomato paste.  I used that a lot.

Namdaemun has an underground market with western products bought from the US Army Base.  Cheese is a good deal there.

If you got a US army friend you can go on the Base Supermarket, it's like a little American city.

Baked beans are usually sold in most big korean supermarkets, Lotte mart, etc.

Have fun.  Let us know what city you are in and we'll give more details.

    Cheers!
