I live in Southern California, la county .. I wanted to know what is the procedures ?

to get a hot dog cart. What do I need to do ?? .. Look for a location ?? where to stand ?? or has anyone very done it ?? I was thinking about renting a cart first to see if it works ?? Any advice out there ? thanks alot

Business license and health permit. Then you need to find a location that will allow you to place your cart there.

Try Lowes, Home Depot, etc

First get a business license, then a permit in the city you want to work in. You have to petition and see if it is allowed. The only allow so many in an area. Check with the city of LA to start. I know in down town LA there are some carts around the court house.

You're going to have to get permission from the city, you'll need a street vendor's license.  If you can, I'd try to get a corner near bars and just work from around 10pm-3am.  You'll bank.
