We already applied for foodstamps but it takes a total of 30 days before I will be approved. There are 4 adults and three childern. We just arrived here from Texas, so we aren't really familiar with Sun Valley. Trying to get jobs it just isn't working like we expected it to. So any advice or information at all will help us. Thanks

  1. so you can affored a computer and internet but no food? and you can affored to move..

    WOW

  2. get ahold of the department of social services and they should put u in touch with churches, salvation army and some food pantrys in your area...

i know its rough cause where i live the jobs are hard to find..

    wish you guys luck

  3. Sign up with temporary employment agency(s) and get a job. Stop trying to live off Uncle Sugar or you'll always be broke. Good luck. ♥ ∞

  4. call   chuch

  5. in nevada prostetution is legal as long as it is not done close to the city. I would try that.

  6. Nevada is the last place you should have gone to looking for work.  Most of the jobs are in the Eastern parts of the U.S. and the cost of living is considerably lower as well.  All I can suggest is that you contact some of the churches in the area maybe they can help you out.

  7. Well, just of the top of my head I guess you could try dumpster diving. Bakeries and convenience stores will often throw away food that has not gone bad, but is over it's expiry date. I don't know if that it is legal in NV. And if you have anything to sell at thriftstores, I guess that could give you some money for food as well.
