  1. Here is a link for eligibility and what is covered. Your income as a single person has to be less than $1,702  per month.

  2. google Texas medicaid program......or be illegal they get it faster than everyone......

  3. Well, sort of.  If you go to the texas medicaid website, it will show that you have to make less than $700 a month if you live alone, to qualify.  HOWEVER, what you REALLY want, is the Children's Health Insurance Plan program - to cover the pregnancy.  It has much more lenient guidelines, counts the baby as one of your household members, and is pretty easy to get as long as you have no insurance now.

But I don't think they post the numbers on the website.  You have to go see them in person.

  4. There should be a "Department of Human Services" somwhere close by where you live, check into that. You can even call them first to get information, they can even mail you the application,

    Sincerely

P.S. In Oregon any woman pregnant with no insurance gets the OHP, the Oregon Health Plan, im sure they have the same thing in Texas.
