I live in Toronto..when is a good time to look for fresh mangosteen?

Hi , according to me you probably wont find a fresh mangosteen anywhere because it is from thailand so its probably not that fresh. But there is a chinese place where I buy mangosteens from. If you live close to Brampton or mississauga go straight on Kennedy and there are 2 places - one is A.A.A Supermarket or go further there is New Asia Supermarket . you will get it from there!!!!!

I am a former chef and buy mine in Chinatown at Spadina and Dundas, the large market about on the same side as the Royal Bank, New Asian, there in the section along the front or along the wall to your left as you enter.

In the summer you will find them on the outside stand all around that area, even if the New Asian is out acrossed the street and the newer place in the big building directly acrossed for the NA you have to go downstairs.

As for the first gentleman I think he has been smoking some bad mangosteen??? Ha, Ha!!
