I live in VA and I want to become an elementary teacher.?

Question

My degree will be B.S. in Psych. I'm taking education courses this semester, but I'm still a little confused on the whole process. Any answers from people who are knowledgable about this subject will be appreciated.

Looks like you need to attend college first.  Contact your closest university's education department.  Also call your local school system's HR department to seek recommendations.  

As far as this year goes, try becoming an assistant teacher or substitute to get your feet wet AND meet the principals.

Oops sorry!  I'd stop by the education department (call or whatever and ask!) .  The principal should also know.  Good luck with the interview.
