I live in a full size 800 sq mobile home built in 1983 and is in good?

condition from appearance but could I expect it to last another 25 years?

the roof is good and foundation is strong and under trailer is fully insulated and covered with heavy tarp material.

No it will not last another 25 years and be functional...With proper upgrades and some wood replacement now and then it could possibly last but you need to really be on top of things..I am in a 1986 mobile home(larger though) and It is in excellent condition for this year model..but I don't expect it to last that long..I was discussing maybe moving another one in in the next 5 years or so to my gf the other day

I owned/lived in a 1972 mobile home until three years ago. I had no problems with it. As long as you stay up on the maintanence and do regular inspections for things like termites and such, you should be fine. Definately have your electrical wiring inspected some time in the near future, if you haven't already done so. If you use a swamp cooler, be sure to cover it in the winter time, and inspect the framework around it from time to time.
