  1. It might help, but I doubt it will remedy the problem entirely.  The volume of air per hour that it processes will be a great determining factor.

A better, more economical solution might be to find where the smell is coming in from.  If its just seeping under your door, they make products to prevent drafts.  You have a couple options:

A doorsweep, easily DIY installed on the bottom of your door, available at Home Depot.

There are also beanbag-style "logs" that span your doorjamb serving the same purpose, with no installation required.

If you think the door is sealing improperly, self-adhesive foam tape is available, again from Home Depot.

In the meantime, go over and ask them to share : )

  2. go take them some eggs.  They'll love you!

  3. I personally use the Oreck air purifier.  It works great in blocking some of the smells coming from my apartment building.  I purchased it from http://www.firstairpurifier.com  I do not know if it will help with the smell of fresh cookies.  It seems like that is a good problem to have!

  4. Yeah, i agree, i dont see the problem..buy a mop & bucket for your drooling. Or cook better smelling things, ITS A COOK OFF!!!!
