  1. surely the police can move them as your on a private road, theyd soon get the message then not to park.

  2. you're lucky that's all you've got to worry about!

  3. Can all the residents not get together and try make your area permit holders only, instead of you sitting in your window waiting for someone to clamp

  4. Hi

To clamp cars you have to be SIA trained and registered to legally do it, huge penalties if you are not.

You could get in a company to do it for you but clamping creates lots of trouble and bad feeling.

You could do ticketing which wouldn't need any other signage to spoil the area than stating persons were entering private property and is less likely to create any sort of violence than clamping but still generate revenue also means anyone there can issue a ticket and don't have to go back out to remove a clamp.

I can arrange ticketing or clamping for you but would advise ticketing to keep the peace.

The police won't do anything as it's private property.

Message me if you are interested.

  5. You would need a SIA license to clamp wheels

  6. As far as I know as long as you adequately display signs that indicate that it is a private and illegal parkers will be clamped, you've covered yourself. I wouldn't have thought the courts/laws will not be too impressed if the main objective is to make money. But it should stop the annoyance that you speak of.
