I live in a state where you can't buy everclear. Is it illegal to have a friend send it to me, though?

Before you go thinking I'm a drunk...it's for herbal tinctures.

Trust me, I'm a lightweight drinker - if I had ANYTHING with a shot of this stuff in it it would probably kill me. :-) But all the tincture recipes I see online reccommend grain alcohol.

yes that would probably be illegal.....but you should do it anyway.  It not like meth or something bad.

It isn't illegal if you live in one these states...

CA, CO, DC, FL, GA, ID, IL, IA, LA, MN, NE, NM, NV, NH, NC, ND, OH, OR, SC, TX, VA, WA, WV, WI,

If you live anywhere else... shipping alcohol into them is illegal.
