If you like shopping, check out Rundle Mall

Outside of Schoolies week, you could head down to Victor Harbour.

Or just head for the hills. Check out Hahndorf, or walk through Morialta Falls Park.

Depends on what your definition of hang out is.  If you're looking for a place to spend time that is free then check-out Glenelg or Rundle Mall.

If you're looking for bars i would suggest anywhere along Rundle St, Glenelg or North Adelaide
