Is the sun and weather bad on my car? Should I not buy a new one then since the sun and rain would be hitting it since I don't have a garage for the car?

  1. Obviously it's ideal to have a garage but it wouldn't stop me. Keep it clean and most importantly, keep it waxed and use armor all. Both will help protect from fading.

  2. My experience has been that vehicles don't melt when rained upon.

  3. soo u should buy a car rain and the sun supposse to hit the car..

  4. If there's a parking lot yes

  5. It's hard to understand really what this question is about; The sun shines on new cars and olds cars both.  I'm going to assume it's a question about personal finances.

If you're concerned about personal finances, then the weather is a red herring.  The correct time, from a financial point of view, to buy a new car is NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER.  There's no doubt that you can always get cheaper transportation than a new car.

So - no matter where you live, you should NOT buy a new car, because it will hurt your future wealth.  Once you're so rich that you can't possibly spend it all, then it's okay to buy a new car.
