You to comparison shop in order to find the best plan and rates in your area. I would suggest trying http://www.InsuranceEasy,org this one of the better consumer insurance sites that I have come across.

SECOND...

Once you choose which quote that you feel is the best then you need to check their financial rating to make sure the company is financially sound.  You can do this at AM Best.  I believe there is a link on the homepage of the abve mentioned site.

~~I would try www.costco.com  they carry health insurance for Ca now. We have it and I have been so impressed with the coverage as well as the benefits.  The person who handled ours is Lisa and you can reach her at 1-800-611-9057 ext 123 then hit the # button.
