My co payment with day care action is ridiculous and I am in search of a free pre school.

try the following two choices....

headstart...children are chosen in the following manner those who do not make the cut for kindergarten, then 4 yrs olds, then 3 yrs also decided who is financially more needy

public preschool....usually located in public elementary schools....usually take children in the same order as head start but they often have larger classrooms.

ok first of all if you do find a free prek in chicago please consider the QUALITY of care your child will be receiveing.  When it comes to Early Childhood nothing is free and if it is I would be a little nervous of sending my kid there considering how much it costs to run a facility. Find a way to pay the co-pay and send your child to a NAEYC accredited center to ensure he receives appropriate care
