  1. Canada.

That's in the northern bit of America.

  3. New York srry idk many colleges but new york is a great state

  4. That depends on what you're looking for. Studying in NYC will be a while lot different than studying in LA or North Carolina, Colorado or Texas.

Do you want city or country side? Do you want public or private school? Do you want conservative or liberal environment?

You really have to tell us more about you and what you want as America has so many different local cultures.

  5. California is nice but Oregon is also very nice. I've lived in Oregon my whole life and LOVE  it. Theres lots to do and you have every season ALL year round you. you can go to different parts of the state for Summer, Winter, Fall, Spring all year round. Some colleges are OSU, PSU and theres many other.

  6. Go as an exchange student in high school. That's a great experience. I did it. And I am currently planning to go back and study. I was in Indiana myself, 40 minutes out of Indianapolis. Loved it. The climate, the people, the culture, everything. I'm from Norway by the way.

Go to California then, and see if you like it :) Be aware though that unless your family (mom, dad) lives in the states, the only other ways of getting a green card for living there and working there is by getting a job there and have your employer file a petition for you, or marry an American. :] Good luck with your dreams!

  7. Colorado is absolutly beautiful!!

  8. i suggest wisconsin Dells thats where i live theres never a dull day we have the biggest indoor and outdoor waterparks and plenty more waterparks that you can get in to free if you live there many amusment parks and lots of celebration days its not that small of a town and madison is about 45 miles away and it has an amazing college you get to drive mopeds to your different classes its right on the lake plus you get to live right by the one of akind wisconsin river if you move to    the dells    there is plenty to do yo should reserch it a little if you have anymore questions just ask me hope it helps  theres somthing to do every season    and its cheap to live here

  9. "Best" depends on what you like.  The USA is geographically huge and very diverse.

Unless you are independently wealthy you will need a job + a work visa. You need a sponsor (employer) for a work visa - you can't apply for one on your own.

Check with US companies in the UK and UK companies with offices in the USA.  For example, Hilton and Marriott hire international staff as interns.

UK citizens can visit the USA for up to 90 days as a tourist, so you could travel for interviews & tests if necessary.

Search "international exchange programs USA" and there should be many links to programs that offer temporary and seasonal work in the US.  Do carefully check any programs you might be interested in as not all of them are a good deal.

Another option is to go to school in the USA.  UK citizens can easily get a US student visa and you MAY be able to work on-campus.  Having a USA university diploma or certificate will make applying for jobs easier, and going to school in the US will help you decide if you really want to move here.

    Good luck!

  10. You can move to LA if you like LA.however, do you have the dough to pay for all the expenses? because LA is very expensive i tell you.I heard that chicago is cheap and cool, never lived there though but have families over there. Piece of advice, if you are moving to america by yourself, i would advice you wait till you are 18yrs atleast that way you can take anything that life throws at you while you are here. good luck.

  11. aw :) lol uhh San Diego CA is the BEST place to live omg. The people are sooooo nice and it has perfect weather. San Diego University is a verrry nice college.
