  1. You might try Germany. There is a large expat Irish community there, present in most cities, especially Duesseldorf, Frankfurt am Main and Hamburg. The Irish community is very active in hospitality and restaurant/bars.

It should be easy to find a temp job among those.

    edit:

Plenty to do and places to have fun in Germany!

  2. If you have exp. at bar work then maybe try Greece or somewhere (low enough wages but lower prices then Ireland)

Somewhere like Thailand can be good if you have scuba experience (cheap place for everything such as food and accom but also low wages)

I'm off to the US to be a camp leader so I'm looking forward to that

Your best bet might be to do a TEFL course with i-i (http://www.onlinetefl.com/) that way you can work in numerous countries, I'm finishing my course up now and hope to go to South America next summer for 3 months :D

    Anyway hope this helps!

  3. thats a very broad question...you should narrow it down! do you expect people to state the pay and social life for every country "around the world"??

  4. Do you mean around Ireland or the world?

  5. I'm only 14 so I'm not sure about work or pay but i like it in Greece.

    everyone is friendly and nice.

    (plus its boiling)

  6. if its only for a fe months id recommend usa...been there twice to work for the summer on the j1/j2 programmes and had a brilliant time

depends where u go but social life can be great...i was in maine and waitressed (made good money on tips) and as a result got to holiday on new orleans

    was also in boston

lived in sydney for a year...amazing time...but if its only for a few months id say usa or canada

also remember that the euro is strong now against the dollar so when changing ur euro ull get good value for dollars!

have a great summer wherever u end up
