  1. Hopefully at least $500/week or so, 3  kids gotta eat.

  2. a court order won"t change week to week, but I would start looking for another job,you will probly pay close to 150.00 per wk.I get support and live in PA and For i child I get 625 a month. So start looking for another job....Or (it's cheaper to keep her)

  3. Rather than going through Child Support Agency or court, why not speak with your ex about doing a private arrangement? Maybe then you could work out a payment that will still help provide for your kids, but not leave you short as well? And if you do start to earn more, then you could change the agreement and add a little extra for the kids? If your ex is happy to do that, then you can just write a letter to the agency/court letting them know what you have both arranged.

  4. Try and get joint custody............It will be a set amount but your wife could ask a judge later to increase the amount if you make more

  5. It is 17 percent of your spouses gross income in NY State, whether its 2 kids or 3, and what you make a year has no bearing on how much support you will get from your ex, the spouse is still obligated to pay support whether or not you work.BTW, the NY State Child support Unit is located in Albany N.Y, and you will get monthly checks. I know because my BF is dong the support thing here too.But even though your local support unit is near your hometown, when a spouse makes a payment directly at the support unit, they have to send it first to Albany and then it comes directly to you from Albany , so it is a slow process.
