I live in naperville, i want to get to chicago, by train, wich train do i use?

  1. You need to go to the train station located on 105 E. 4th St. There you will need to take the Metra, which is on the BNSF line. DO NOT take an Amtrak downtown from Naperville. Both companies (Amtrak & Metra) have an agreement about making people take a Metra if they are not transferring to another Amtrak. Let me warn you ahead of time that parking there is a pain in the @ss. Either have a parking pass or get there later than 9:00 am to pay a $1.00 fee.
