I live in new jersey i busted with weed in a car i wasn't driving i don't have a police record it was 3grams?

Three grams is a very small amount.  Did you admit to possession?  Or were you the closest in the car to the weed?

Most states have a first time offenders drug program.  It sounds as if you would qualify for this.  It is often called DIVERSION.

And it looks like your privilege to drive may be suspended if you are convicted.

WAS THE WEED ON YOUR PERSON OR UNDER YOUR SEAT IF NOT YOU REALLY DON'T HAVE TO WORRY TO MUCH AND DON'T ALLOW THE COURT APPOINTED LAWYER TO SELL YOU OUT.
