Question:

I live in north texas and i was served a jury summons, but i have active warrants out.?

And i also have a warrant in that county. i was wondering if i go to my summons will i be taken to jail for my warrants, or would they even no that i had warrants out for my arrest. can you serve a jury summons with active warrants? any help on this would be great, thanks.

  1. h**l yeah they will take you in, and they will save gas doing it.  i've seen it happen. its just like turning yourself in.  once your name hits the docket and you show it, your gone

  8. Sucks to be you! If they for some reason do a background check, then yes.  But if you dont go to Jury Duty, you'll go to Jail ANYWAYS. I think you should just suck it up.

  11. lol lol run dude. Happened to me at the Old Baily in London, they run a check on all perspective jurors .

  12. I saw something like this on court tv. It was a funny setup. This lady had a warrant out and she was told she won some money from a lotto. When she went to claim her prize, cops bust out and arrest her. Maybe they're trying to set you up.

    Get a lawyer and fix the warrant.
