I live in northern Minnesota, and what is up with the dragonflies this time of year?

  1. I live in the central part of Minnesota, and we have them here more than usual. However, I don't knew about there cycle, but I'm told that every few years you will get swamped with them.


  2. That's good!  Dragonflies eat mosquitoes and other small insects and don't bite people.  Send some to WI.

  3. Be thankful that you have them.  Would you rather be swamped with mosquitoes?  

    I love dragonflies. They are a wonderful sign of summertime and they fly so gracefully.
