  1. No, you don't.  You can just start using Sr. Make sure you use it consistently though.


  2. no, don't you automatically just become a senior? plus it'll be just like a nickname.... don't freak! =]

  3. my father was a sr...and bro a jr...he never legally changed it...he just started adding it to everything later on in life so mail didn't get confused......everything is basically  based around your social security number....but in cases of mail and insurances...i would just start to put a jr and sr on things...i don't believe anything literally has to be changed...at least my family never did...

  4. No. Just get new business cards and return address labels. Start adding "Sr." to your name when you fill out forms or renew magazine subscriptions.

    Sr and Jr don't matter much now, since your son isn't getting  mail. It starts to matter when he does. You'll be getting AARP ads and he will be getting ads about high school rings.
