  1. why did you get yourself into this mess?  have you seen those commercials on tv where they have you call and you settle with your credit card agencys? You ought to try that You should really be more responsilbe.

  2.   call  every  each  one  of  them  and  make  a  payment  arrangement  and  NO  they  can't  put  you  in  jail .they'll  just  hound  your  ***  forever  till  you  pay   up  SO,....make  the  call  or  they  will  not  stop.

  3. no matter where you live, youll end up either going to jail, or if you set up a system with the IRS- you can do community service like cleaning up high ways for a certain ampount of time and then that will pay off your bills.

  4. No

  5. We no longer have debtors court/jail in this country; the only way you can go to jail for failure to pay is if you try to stiff Uncle Sam.

  6. You can always file for chapter 7.

  7. Here is a simple answer to most legal questions, contact your county court house for the answer, that is what they are there for.

  8. Go bankropt!!! Get rid of all your bills, and don't use credit cards ever again!!! These companies make it too easy to get one, and they keep giving you incentives to BUY more stuff! It's their own fault, and you are only human.  Bankruptcy doesn't cost that much, go find a legal aid, I had mine done for less than $300
