  1. It depends on:

    1) How much marijuana he had on him.

    2) Whether or not he had a prescription for the pills.

    3) If/what kind of criminal history he had.

Possible sentences could range from a few months of probation to a few years in jail.

  2. It all depends on how much he had. He had to have quite a bit to get arrested. Otherwise they probably would have just gave him a ticket. He probably gots to wait to see the judge.

  3. the amount of weed would make a difference. If it was under an ounce, and If the vicodin was in a bottle in someones else name it could be considered theft.

If it was without a bottle/ unlabeled - it'd be a controlled substance charge. Which is better!

Overall $400- 800 bond. Might have to do 30 days at the most (unlikely) if he pleads guilty. Plus 1 year probation including drug tests/ classes. If he takes it to trial, up to two years in prison.

  4. I wish I could give you a definitive answer but there are too many facts missing.  Did he posses so much dope and vicodin to be considered sales?  Was he driving under the influence at the time...an additional charge.  If it is simply a first offender drug possession, he's looking at drug treatment and classes.

If he is not released or bailed out of custody, he should be arraigned, brought to court and enter a plea before the judge, in the next day or two.

  5. Possession of both. The vicodin because he did not have a presription.............

  6. it depends on how much of each substance they found on him.

if they found 1 Vicoden and a quarter-ounce of pot, pending on financial and police services, he'll be out once bail is set and paid.

Prescription pills without a prescription is a felony, so I'd be praying for you're old man.

    take it easy,
