  1. You can't legally get a proper job until you are 14 but if you have any family friends who own cafes or anything like that then you could do washing up or something. Also you could offer a cleaning or ironing service? Babysitting is always a good one because you don't have to do much and the pay is quite good. In the summer, my brother used to go around our street washing people's cars.

  2. If you're serious you'll need to get a permit (no joke)

  3. Babysitting.

  4. Well it entirely depends on if you want a 'Legally registered' job, or a 'cash-in-hand' job(that doesn't mean working for the mafia! :p )

    A few 'legal' jobs:

    Paper shop/round,

    Local store,

    Cafe/Pub/etc,

One thing to note is you can only work 1 hour before school, and 2 (I think) after school. Weekends are unlimited (to a sensible degree of course)

    A few 'cash-in-hand' jobs:

    Gardener,

    Dog walker,

    Personal shopper,

    House cleaner,

    Tour guide,

    Bag carrier,

... I would recommend on getting a registered job though, just because then its official, and will go on your CV, and if you are a good employee, they will give you a good recommendation to your next job/career.

Hope i have helped. Good luck! =]

  5. corner shops sometimes hire people to just help out around the shop, or ask at a pub if they need any pot washers?

  6. if you have access to a computer and the internet then the below can help you

have a look and contact the site for more info/explanation:

  7. Legally, you must be 14 to get a part-time job, but most employers don't really mind. You could help out with washing up in resteraunts or you could be behind the counter your local newsagents. You could do babysitting, wash peoples cars etc. If there are no vacancies, then leave your name and contact details. My friend is 13, and she's got a job in wimpy serving costumers.

  8. Car washing, mowing lawns, paid shopping..

  9. The UK has loads of laws governing work for teenagers.  Until your sixteen, the only jobs available are things such as paper rounds and in the majority of council areas you need a work permit, signed by your employer and one of your parents before you can legally work when your under sixteen.  (Although many businesses do not bother with them, but they should, I had a paper-round for a year when I was 13-14 and the newsagents never bothered with permits.)  Most shops will not take on people under 16, but if your town has a market, you could try asking the stall holders if they have any jobs going.

    Good luck in finding something.
