  1. depends, if you say that there is no DSL or cable that means your neighbours dont have a wifi router in home to help you connect to their connection. but maybe you are lucky and there is wifi from a local provider or 3G from a mobile phone tower.

  2. No, you can't. A wireless card (most of them, anyway) connects to a wireless router (which you also must buy), which plugs into broadband service, which is unavailable to you. A wireless card won't help you.

You might be able to get service through a satellite provider or a cell phone company. I haven't personally used those services, but they exist in some markets. Try calling the local cell phone companies and see if they offer a wireless data service.

  3. Get a USB card from your Cell Phone Company so wherever there is cell phone service there's internet

**It is very expensive to maintain

  4. 5 months ago, I would have told you a broadband card from Sprint, Verizon, or AT&T would have been your best option. $60 a month.  But now with the advent of 3g iphones and the Samsung Instinct and other high performance cell phones and PDA's, the big three wireless carriers are pretty much crapping out on us computer users. Sprint, Verizon, and AT&T have all placed us (I'm a Sprint customer) on a 5 gigabyte per month limit. Go over it, and you run the real risk of getting your service canceled and finding yourself with a useless $200 card plus a $200 early termination fee. In Verizon's case, they just hit you with astronomical overage charges, $250 a gigabyte. They have pretty much taken themselves off the table as a broadband solution. Your only real option is satellite or plain old dial-up. They (the wireless carriers)  will tell you that 5 gigabyte is a lot of data. It is, if you only view static 1995 style web pages. One hour of youtube will rack up a gigabyte. Last month's windows updates were almost a gigabyte (service pack 3.)

As you can tell, this is a sore spot for me.

  5. No. Unless there are services in the area you will find nothing to connect to. Try for a cellular wireless system.

  6. The only wireless you can get is cellular. Is is not that fast but it is a lot better than dial up. I think that it is called 3g at the att stores. It is not that bad, but don't try to download or play games on the internet, you just wont be able to get speeds fast enough for that out in the country.

  7. hard to say without knowing the country but i doubt it if they don't have broadband. i would suggest looking into satellite broadband

  8. if it is available in your area you will have to go to there web page to see clear wire is a great choice a friend of mine has it he lives in the sierra mountains in California a olive farmer he had no access to anything except dialup from the phone provider and started shopping around and found clear wire i like the service a little to pricey for me but good service

    http://www.clearwire.com/

also no dont go out and buy a wireless card cause those are only good if you are setting up your own wireless network in your home unless you already have broadband service in your home they do no good, it is best to wait until you find service to do this cause you need to know what you are working with
