Well assuming you know English fluently that's one thing they will appreciate. And if you're going to study or work i doubt it will be a massive hassle to go there unless you're poor and don't have a place to stay kinda thing.

Pretty hard if it isn't a work or student visa. I do hear of a lot of people getting paid to get married for greencards though. However, it IS illegal.
