  1. Look on the One Railway website for exact times - www.onerailway.com

The trains are pretty regular. You are better off getting the train from Liverpool Street rather than Stratford, as this is the start of the line (if you are travelling in peak hours especially the route is really busy and if you want a seat then start here!).

The journey takes around an hour and a half.

Hope you like Clacton, it's my home town!

  2. Central Line to Stratford. Train to Clacton.....er, that's it!

Or how about a bus to Ilford or Manor Park and train from there - but in that case you will need to change at Shenfield.

For train times and fares go to www.nationalrail.co.uk and use journey planner.

  3. De train station!!

  4. Take the Central Line down to Stratford then catch the train from there direct to Clacton-on-Sea',

  5. easy get tube to liverpool street mainline to clacton as easy as that

  6. www.tfl.gov.uk

  7. Central Line to Stratford, then train to Clacton

Or take the 66 bus from Wanstead to Romford and get the train from there.

(As I recall, all Clacton trains stop at both Romford and Stratford)

  8. I would catch the Central Line from Wanstead to Liverpool Street Station, where you then can catch a direct train from Liverpool Street to Clacton on Sea. Otherwise at Liverpool Street you can catch a train into Colchester where you would change for the Clacton.
