I live near des moines ia where would be the cheapest place to buy food?

I do not mind in bulk but do not have a deep freezer the cost negates the savings, also do not say costco or sams- I have run the numbers and my local aldis or hyvee or fareway is way cheaper for the off brands

In my opinion, HyVee is by far the best place.  Comparing items side by side, some people say that Fareway is cheaper, but here's why I like HyVee:

The HyVee brand food tastes good!

I think the off-brand items at Fareway or Aldi taste terrible.  They have no flavor.  So if I shopped at either of those stores, I'd end up buying the pricey name brand items.  But at HyVee, I can't taste the difference between a brand name item and a HyVee item.  That way I can save money by buying the "off brand" and still enjoy my food.
